Amanda and Nick were introduced by a mutual friend who thought they’d be good together. When they started talking, they were struck by how easy it was, how effortlessly they got to know each other. They talked all night long, like a couple of teenagers, even though they knew going to work severely sleep deprived would hurt. It was worth it! Their journey took them all the way to Yosemite. Neither of them had ever visited the park, so it was the perfect place to start fresh and begin their lives together.

What does Amanda love about Nick?
“The first time I spent time at his home I went to the washroom and noticed how perfect his towels were folded. Me being a bit of a perfectionist, I was impressed. I jokingly tell him I fell in love with him because of that. Honestly, it was more than attraction. I mean, just look at his smile. It is a feeling I get every time I’m in his presence. He was made just for me. He protects me, loves me hard, lightens my load, reminds me of my worth, comforts me, and inspires me to be my best. He is the most selfless man and father I have ever known. The thing that brings him the most joy is my happiness. He is respectful, very present, my best friend and safe place.”
What does Nick love about Amanda?
“Monica, the friend/coworker of mine who introduced us, had shown me some pictures of Amanda before I had reached out to her. Immediately, I was blown away by how gorgeous she is! I felt that she was way out of my league but was willing to give it a try anyway.
I still wake up everyday and can’t believe how lucky I am to have met her and getting to be the man who is going to marry her! She gets me like no one else and accepts my flaws along with my better traits. She loves me everyday despite my flaws and there’s no one else I’d rather spend my life with.”
The bride and groom’s intimate ceremony was held at Cathedral Beach, El Capitan standing tall as their witness.
